The Progenitor Art & Literary Journal is produced by students at Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, Colorado. Progenitor accepts submissions from published and unpublished writers, students, and the writing community.
Our Journal
Progenitor 2017 was produced during a tumultuous time in our nation, and some of the content wrestles with issues of the time. Our cover image symbolizes the feeling of isolation and loss of a voice that may be felt during such times. We believe that through creative expression of art and literature we can impact our world as we find a commonality of thought and purpose.
Established in 2004, the Writers Studio at Arapahoe Community College is a community for writers of all ages and skill levels. We invite writers from our school and community to experience the writing life through creative writing courses, workshops, literary contests, festivals, and readings. We invite local and national writers to share their words and expertise with our students and community members.
